An inspector calls - Spleen

Last night was a first. I was served a legal document (or at least something that claims to be a legal document) by a private detective called Hugh…

And that happened because of this post

cellphones and androntech - Spleen

The only thing I wonder is if the product works and addresses a health concern why put a statement like this on your website?

“Neither [inventors name], [company name] nor any agent or representative of either make any claim that a [product] will prevent ill health or that using or carrying a cell phone or cordless phone or using a computer has at this time, been proven beyond doubt to be detrimental health.”

While looking at the site I noticed “The Harmony Centre” who did the “EMF Photography” gives it’s address as Reynella Drive, Massey. Nothing wrong with that as I grew up in McClintock Rd, not far from there, but the area had one memorable feature that’s related to electromagnetic fields – the subject in question.

For most my childhood “Reynella Drive” was a paddock with cows & horses grazing but later it was developed into a residential area. The cows & horses didn’t mind but if you had concerns about EMF I’d suggest the main grid high tension transmission lines (the red lines on the map) that run right through the middle of the area—within a few hundred meters of “The Harmony Centre” address—would be more of a concern than a cellphone?
