The current coalition has changed the voting rules, so that if you are not enrolled by October 25th you don’t get to vote on election day.
Don’t let them steal your vote.
Don’t assume you are on the roll - many people are finding they thought they were on the roll but have mysteriously disappeared from it.

| 26 October | Advance voting starts |
| 6 November | Regulated period ends. All election advertising must end. Signs must be taken down by midnight. |
| 7 November | Election day. Voting places open from 9.00am to 7.00pm Election night. Preliminary election results released progressively from 7.00pm on electionresults.govt.nz |
| 27 November | Official results for the 2026 General Election declared |
| 3 December | Last day for the return of the writ |
