I don't remember Apollo 11 as was only

three when they landed on the moon. I do remember seeing an Apllo launch and landing on live TV when I was young but don't know which, maybe 13?

I have always been interested in the adventure, science and technology of space travel and visiting the Kennedy Space Centre was a highlight of the Autodesk University Orlando trip. Although I'd seen the film, photos and read all about the Apollo, & Space Shuttle, it's impossible to appreciate the scale until you see it for real.

They went to the Moon, we all saw it and the Earth as never before. What began as a race between two earth-bound super-powers resulted in one of mankind's greatest achievements.
