A “The Conversation” tweet about weight loss caught my eye yesterday. I know, thanks to an old blog post, in November 2006 I weighed 68 kg. I also know, thanks to another old blog post, I also weighed ~68 kg in 2013 but had been up to 75 kg sometime
Rather than fix the problem - variation of bridge surface treatments from good anti-slip to none along the Henderson Cycle Path - the answer is a new "No Cycling" sign. Other stretches with the same surface further along have use signs at all. Other places nearer Hwy 16

First cycle ride up Maungakiekie/One Tree Hill since the road was closed to cars. So nice and packed with humans and dogs enjoying the walk without traffic. Much more peaceful on the summit without the constant carpark shuffle, and for once no drones!
