Happy arbitrary delineation of time that has no real significance :) It's going to be hard to top 2014, in terms of elevation achieved (without use of an aircraft) at least! Saw the top of Mount Everest from the Tibetan Base Camp (5200m) and have no desire to go
Design and Art
I saw this lecture in Auckland and enjoyed it. Professor Marcus du Sautoy covered the influence of Maths* in music, visual art, design, and writing. I really went to see him present, as much as the topic itself, but came away with some new things to investigate. I hadn’t

A typical Sunday for me includes a bike ride or dog walk listening to podcasts. Today there's no need for ear buds to hear one of them! A live recording of @SkepticsGuide is the kick off for Day 2 of the NZ Skeptics conference #nzskepconf http://www.theskepticsguide.

Great turnout for day one of the NZ Skeptics Conference!
