Neat, tidy but not distinctiveAir New Zealand recently re-branded with new Zambesi-designed uniforms. The designers speak of “subtle and peaceful palette of teal, greenstone and schist” but I thought the Cabin Crew & Airport Counter uniforms looked rather drab communist grey. They are neat, tidy and have some nice details

Not sure what prompted Marty to do this review of Lyle Mays solo album “Lyle Mays” now, it was released back in 1998, but it’s a nice summary of a great disc. The opening track is a favourite but by far the most memorable is “Track 7 – Alaskan Suite:

The “Northern Solstice” trip is Adventure South’s finale for the year. I guess “Northern” as covers the northern part of the South Island but not sure about the “Solstice” when it’s happening in April. I hope it’s to help rustle up some summer solstice weather in late

Was Chicken Little right all along? Not quite but New Zealand’s main satellite TV service is off the air thanks to an errant satellite. It’s still up there and our signal is going somewhere, just not here! Hope it’s back for the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday!

CAD drawings can look too precise but now with AutoCAD Visual Styles they don't have to
