Wuthering Heights is an absolute mess
I thought that about the book in Fifth Form...
Ms Gaskin* was the only reason I passed a Wuthering Heights High School assignment. I love reading, I read a lot, I tried to read it and just went over the same line, paragraph, page again and again with zero desire to read more.
Her notes, her teaching, and seeing the movie version, was enough to cobble together enough to get a reasonable grade and move on to something I wanted to read.
Seems this film adaptation matches my impression of the novel...
