Watch out Dell - trouble ahead

I predict Dell may soon exit New Zealand or cease trading entirely. Why?

• I purchased a Dell Laptop.

Justification:

• First computer – a 486 dx 33 purchased from a local dealer CADS – Closed down.
• Second computer – a Pentium 160 purchased from PC Direct – They sold to Gateway.
• Third computer – a Pentium 600 purchased from Gateway – They nearly went broke and exited New Zealand.
• Fourth computer – a Pentium 2800 purchased from “The PC Company” – They did go broke.

All these machines are still operating, never had any problems, but the companies that provided them no longer exist in New Zealand.

• This week purchased a notebook from Dell – Don’t say I haven’t warned you…
