Volvo and Ford argue SUV Safety - but aren't Volvo Ford?

While it’s not unusual for a child to argue with it’s parents you don’t often see it at a corporate level.

Volvo kinda admit that SUV’s tend to fall over and build theirs with a bunch of features to avoid it and a strong roof which "exceeds the legal requirements in the U.S.A. by more than 100 percent” in case it does.

Ford seem less willing to admit that a strong roof is useful on vehicles that tend to fall over; "There is no data out there to suggest people are injured by a roof collapsing," said Susan Cischke, Ford's vice president for environmental and safety engineering.

So Volvo and Ford don’t agree which would be ok except Volvo are Ford
