Traffic Light Thought – Holden brakes not so good?

Last night heavy traffic on the motorway had me heading along the suburban route. I approached a light that turned Orange, then Red as I glided to a gentle halt and sat contemplating the drive home.

Then, in the empty lane beside me, a new Holden Commodore (a high spec GTR Model so almost certainly not a cop) flew through the solid red light and an intersection that was only empty because crossing traffic was slow off the mark.

I was amazed but didn’t get its number. Only a total moron would run a very red light so it can only mean those GTR brakes mustn't be very good. Just as well, as those road safety ads constantly advise, it’s only speed and alcohol that are killers.
