Sony Flagship DVD Recorder with Hard Disk Drive Unveiled

I was talking to a friend who just got a Panasonic DVD/Hard Disk recorder and thought that this would be the answer to my current problem. I have 3 VCR's (2 Hifi VHS + Video 8 VCR) that are worn out, literally, and the thought of replacing them with more tape machines was not inspiring.
The only thing is that all my AV gear is Sony and I have an excellent integrated remote that controls it all. I dont mind Panasonic gear but would prefer if I could get a Sony. Problem was they didn't have anything in the range when I looked a few days ago....  Now they do, and it looks really nice.
Time to shop :-)
