John Key's Economic Plan | ACT New Zealand - Posted on 10 Oct 2008
Over the time that I have known John Key I have learned to be disappointed.
He has had a political career agreeing with Helen Clark.
What I did not expect was that John Key’s economic plan would confirm Michael Cullen’s spend up.
We know that it is the growth of government spending which under the Labour government grew from 34 billion to 62 billion a year that has put the squeeze on house holds.
John Key yesterday confirmed that he agreed with that spend up and further agreed with Michael Cullen’s plans to increase the spend up.
His fiscal policy in the face of world financial turmoil is to fiddle with Kiwisaver and Tax credits.
The National Party’s economic plan does not alter in any way shape or form the burden of Government on the people of New Zealand.
It is now clear that a party vote for the National Party will dump Helen Clark but keep Michael Cullen’s economic policy.
A Party vote for ACT will dump Helen Clark and Cullen’s economic policy.
Here is what ACT will do with your Party vote.
ACT will limit the growth of government spending to the rate of inflation.
ACT will abolish Cullens 39% envy tax by Christmas
Oh and we will and dump the Emissions Trading Scheme.
