Revit, finally, got this feature I missed from AutoCAD days. Yes, you could always use dimensions to constrain 'EQ' between two references to place something midway but often that was just a hassle. Midpoint snap just places it, no dim, no delete dim, no unnecessary (if you don't need) constraints to fight later on!
