10th Anniversary, a decade of blogging!

March 31st means it is blog’iversary time again. I find it hard to believe a decade has passed by since that first tentative post. It was rather special to spend a few days last week with the Shaan Hurley (on the left wearing a cap below), who inspired me to blog, and other CAD bloggers. Welcome to AutoCAD 2015 - AutoCAD Blogger Day

Autodesk invited bloggers from around the world to meet with AutoCAD product managers, specialists, AutoCAD team members and a gold beta user for a deep dive into the new AutoCAD 2015 release. I’d seen the beta before this trip but was interested to learn what had driven the changes and refinements it delivers. The blogger day brought together people from as far afield as Poland, Czech Republic, Brazil, U.K., the USA (St Louis, Nebraska, Florida, Atlanta and Texas) and one from New Zealand (me!). San Francisco bound for some bloggy fun - AutoCAD Blogger Day

Allowing some extra—and it turned out not needed—travel time for traffic, unavoidable road works and the slick check in process at Auckland Airport means I’m through security looking at a departure board which says ‘Relax’.
