I spent the day with Shaan Hurley & Aussie Blogger Steve Johnson. Shaan showed us Marin County - around Muir Woods, Mt Tamalpais & Stinson Beach - and we made a quick stop at the Autodesk Offices in San Rafael. We intended to take the traditional "AutoCAD Sign Photo" shot (mine from 2004 has the old logo) but there was NO sign!
Then we dropped Steve off at the Airport with a very scenic tour, several laps, of Golden Gate Park along the way. Thanks to Shaan for an enjoyable day with great, and some unusual, San Francisco sights.
As I write Steve is beginning his epic (30 hour?) trek back to Perth, Western Australia. I fly tomorrow but at least it's only 13 hours to New Zealand.
