It's not just better AutoCAD

I’m not a fan of the “AutoCAD for Architects” tag that is being used for Autodesk Architectural Desktop but think this, from the website banner, is even worse: Better, doesn’t seem like a very impressive claim so here is my take on it: Architectural Desktop isn’t AutoCAD. It isn’t even better AutoCAD. It’s object based Building Modelling on an AutoCAD platform. It does things AutoCAD can’t do at all, not just AutoCAD stuff better. Blogging won't impact our company - Yeah right!

Josh Hallett links to a web-cast of his presentation “Bloggety, Blog, Blog,” for PR Students at the University of Florida. It covers blogging and blog tracking as tools for Public Relations and Media Professionals. Walt Disney Imagineering art

I picked up the “Walt Disney Imagineering” book in the Disney Art store at EPCOT and was captivated by the artwork. It’s a peek at the work done by the Disney “Imagineers” to create the various parks and rides from the original until 1998 (Tokyo/Euro) when it was published.
