Phil Llewellin: The Road to Muckle Flugga: Great Drives in Five Continents A collection of stories by one of the finest writers I've ever read. Phil Llewellin happened to write about transport, for CAR Magazine (U.K.) among others, but his articles were captivating as they were more about his impressions of the country and the characters he met along the way than the vehicle he was travelling in. These are the best.
