Ellen just misses record

After nearly 3000nm Ellen crossed the line just 75 minutes after the record time due to failing winds towards the end. You have to admire this effort which was at times within 13 minutes of the record. I saw B&Q when in Auckland and was an impressive sight sitting stationary in the viaduct basin. New About Me Photo

I've got a bit more honest with the "About Photo" on the top left of this site. The old one was a bit old (5 years) & didn't really look like me anymore. The one there now fits better as have a dark shirt on to match the sites new look & was taken in March 2004, on the Trans Scenic Train, so is a bit more recent. NZ GPS Maps

Brent's New Zealand Street Maps for Garmin GPS are now available via his new site. I use them with my Garmin Legend and Mapsource software but they also come with a DOS loader if you don’t have Mapsource. Until Brent made these available Garmin Worldmap was the only up-loadable mapping for Garmin GPS in NZ.
