It’s only a non-championship support race but losing the V8 Supercars is a blow for the Aussie Grand Prix. Every year they say “We’ll take it easy as there are no points, can’t afford to damage the cars, not long till the first real race” then the start lights go out and all hell breaks loose and you get one of the best races of the weekend!
