IDinsight impact evaluation
In 2024, when Zambia experienced the worst drought in 40 years, IDinsight, in partnership with World Bicycle Relief, was in the midst of conducting a randomized controlled trial on the impact of bicycle mobility. The pioneering RCT rigorously assessed, over two years, how access to bicycles can improve livelihoods, boost economic productivity, create greater social empowerment, improve access to health facilities, and support service delivery by community health workers.
