Cameron Reilly, of The Podcast Network, blogs he is now growing his own wheatgrass with a photo of some fantastic green healthy looking stuff which produces juice that:

“Tastes sweeter than any I've tasted from a store”

Being a card carrying NZCSICOP member, well I would be if they had a card but I am a member, I couldn’t resist posting a comment querying if wheatgrass really did any good – along with a link to a page about Wheatgrass Therapy at the National Council Against Health Fraud.

He countered with another link, pro wheatgrass, and it’s generated some light hearted banter on his post.

  • So is wheatgrass any good?
  • Is it any better than common green vegetables/plants?
  • Is there green gold locked in those wheaty shoots?
  • Is wheatgrass a matter of faith or science?

I have no idea, but doesn’t mean you can’t wind-up an Aussie
