Fiat Panda/Grande Punto Abarth due in autumn?

Fiat seem ready to rev up the Abarth brand again with Panda and Grande Punto Abarth versions. Rumours, prototypes, have been on the web for months but Channel 4 set a date. It’s always mystified me why they bothered with other “GT” branding with the unique heritage of Abarth. Anyone can make a GT, Turbo, HGT etc but there is only one Abarth.
