I'm not sure if this will apply to other Intranets, or future Autodesk Design Review versions but, for what it's worth, it fixed a problem I had on ours. On my machine the browser would launch a blank window but the viewer and target DWF file did not display. This made demonstrating DWF use a bit tricky!

Stand-alone Autodesk Design Review and other machines worked fine. I thought it might only apply to our environment but it helped another Discussion Group reader with the same problem.

Autodesk: Discussion Groups - DWF 7 and Internet Explorer 7 - still not working

Had this on our intranet and this fixed it. Can't promise it will work there but for what it's worth;

Go to IE Options > Advanced Tab

Scroll way down to Security and check the following are not ticked;
- Allow Active Content from CD's to run on My Computer
- Allow Active Content to run files on My Computer

Also if your intranet uses Scripts to launch the page/viewer try re-registering;

Start > Run regsvr32 jscript
Start > Run regsvr32 vbscript
