Dead Sky and a clicking amp, cable day!

Dead Sky
Hadn't used it for about a week. Lights on box, nothing on-screen but for a brief flash of digital hash—as the sky box fired up— before the TV screen went black.
Turn it off, turn it on again, same

'Try a different HDMI Cable'. I mean it was new when the box arrived sometime this year...

Clicking AV Receiver
Listening to music on the home theatre—from phone via Logitech Bluetooth adapter*—and the Sony AV Receiver is clicking, occasionally, randomly, often enough to be... an... click... noy...click, click... ing!
Read the Sony site:
Check speaker wires/connections (as the relay mutes them while the receiver fires up or changes sources), OK, still clicking...
Check input connections, OK, still clicking...
If not those it could be a faulty relay or (unit is years old) a dry solder joint on main board... Great.
Then notice, it is only the Logitech input...
Change the Logitech supplied Mini-jack to RCA output cable (that has been there for ages) to a standard RCA-RCA cable (unit has both outputs)...
Clicks be gone!
