ClassicItalia & Hobson Bay wandering
Went for a walk between the cars & lunch

The first day of 'Daylight Saving' (yay!) felt like summer. I woke a bit late, my usual time but it was a clock hour later, so missed the best of ClassicItalia today. Got there about half an hour before the unofficial 10am finish, but still saw some nice cars and caught up with a few folk.
ClassicItalia
CLASSICITALIA is a regular informal meet-up that attracts a wide variety of Italian cars; from the humblest (but still great) to the exotic and rare.

Today there was a parking line up of an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio & Ferrari 308 GT4 (my favourite Ferrari). If I had to pick a two-car only 'when I win Lotto' garage it might be mine!

The 308 GT4 was stunning, better than Ferrari ever built and finished them I suspect.

Love the 'driver focused' interior, so 70's but so right. Not a touch screen in sight!

A walk before lunch...
I had a few hours to fill between the cars and a city lunch, so went for a walk around Judges Bay and part of Hobson Bay. The Parnell Pools don't open until November, but it was so warm today I think they would have had customers.
Not all the Hobson Bay Coast Walk is open, due to cliff instability nearer Point Resolution, but from Awatea Reserve to Shore Road Reserve (the West Path) is still walkable (albeit with the usual provision of some sections being low tide only).
It's an interesting walk, mix of (posh) suburban, coastal and quite a few stair & path climbs to keep the heart rate up! I doubt 9km, 170m climbing, made much of a dent in the calories added soon after at lunch!
I made a Relive, a short video recap, of the walk and by now you may have guessed this is also me testing embedded content in this new (for me) Ghost platform. It works well, this post being a mix of HTML embeds and Ghost's own link based embeds.
