Canon targets DSLRs

Seems compact digital cameras will be subject to the same price (margin) pressure as compact film so the manufacturers are looking at growing the Digital SLR market. I’ve recently got a compact digital camera and its great for “everyday” use but yearn for the control and precision of a SLR. For me that means back to film at the moment. Increasing competition in the DSLR market will be good when time comes to make the move!
