April marks the official launch for the Autodesk 2008 Architecture, Engineering & Construction products in New Zealand.

Autodesk have dropped the combined “Design Masters” event this year, replaced by There will be Autodesk/Dealer hosted Launch events on separate days. So far only Auckland dates, 23/24 April are listed, not sure if there will be any in other centres.

With the addition of preliminary customer & demo sessions last year Design Masters was heading towards being a mini “Kiwi Autodesk University”. Will be interesting to see what form it takes this year but it seems a pity to split up an already small community.

I’ve I’m now registered for the Salesoft session on the 24th AEC Systems session on the 23rd, see you there maybe?

UPDATE 11–04–2007: Due to a clash of dates with another event and resulting travel I’m now going to the AEC Systems event.

UPDATE 19–04–2007: Have heard the Launch is not necessarily replacing “Design Masters” so corrected the post. Unfortunately other than that have no further details at this stage.
