Am I impatient, or are TV quiz shows annoyingly slow?
As I write The Rich List* has been going for about ten minutes and almost nothing has happened. I find 'Who wants to be a Millionaire" equally annoying in that it takes bloody ages for the questions to be asked, even longer for them to be answered.
The question is asked, it's repeated, they agonise over the answer, debate the other options with themselves, get offered alternate strategies, then finally, finally answer. Then the question is repeated again, like I didn't know it already although it is about quarter of an hour since it was asked, before, after yet more "are you sure?" and debate, the answer is finally revealed.
I could understand if a million dollars hung in the balance but this happens all the way through! They agonise on the hundred dollar questions too!
Bring back Mastermind!I suspect more questions were asked, and answered, in a single episode of Mastermind than are seen in a whole series of these moronic new quiz shows. That's why I stopped watching and wrote this!
